Technology, Media & Communications specialist recruitment firm, Xpand Group, has hired leading PR Recruitment expert Kathryn Woof to provide specialised PR recruitment services to support the industry in APAC.

Kathryn joins Xpand Singapore in November 2009 to deliver the Xpand service specifically to meet the needs of the PR industry. Kathryn has eight years recruitment experience, six of which were gained with specialist PR recruiter, Median, in London, UK.  Her long tenure in PR has provided her with in depth experience of recruiting across all levels of staff, both permanent and contract / freelance for MNCs including Barclays, Philips and Microsoft as well as leading PR agencies including Weber Shandwick, Golin Harris, Lewis and Porter Novelli. 

Kathryn is a seasoned senior recruiter and manager who also successfully launched and ran a PR Directors division in 2008, and now holds an impressive track record at Board level recruitment, having placed Directors into WPP, Huntsworth, Ketchum and Edelman.

As a knowledge and experience based PR expert who has aligned herself closely with the industry, she played an integral part in six consecutive nominations for ‘Best Media Recruitment Firm’ at the UK REC Awards for Excellence and in 2007 was herself nominated for the UK Nationally recognised ‘Recruitment Consultant of the Year’ at the LSE Archant Awards.

Kathryn is an English Literature graduate from the University of Liverpool.
