Everyone is talking about 5G

Ericsson has held a Summit to take you on the transformational journey towards 5G. 



Ericsson's group CTO Ulf Ewaldsson, urged the industry to embrace a truly holistic strategy on security in the road towards 5G, with a focus on integrating security within networks, cloud and devices.

What is 5G? œG stands for Generation. Like 4G or 3G, 5G is an innovation brings us into a new generation, it connects the world wirelessly. You’ll be able to connect all devices to the web/mobile internet everywhere, anytime; so the communication of information and interaction of people will be much faster and free of obstacles and it will make our life much easier.

5G is coming soon, during the #MWCS16, a lot of innovative companies and pioneers have already been testing 5G technology and targeting to make it available widely in the next couple of years. Now we have data to show that, China's machine-to-machine (M2M) market will reach one billion connections by 2020, with the majority coming from the developing low-power wide area (LPWA) market.

It was great to join such a massive event in Asia and get inspired by the market leaders and innovators in these fields.
