A brief description of your career history:
Entered into technology recruitment in 2006 as a consultant and have worked my way through to leading and building successful technology recruitment practices. Prior to commencing my recruitment career, I’ve worked in different sales executive and account management roles across many different industries giving me a thorough understanding of different industry workings.
What makes you ‘now’ in technology
Working with clients who are on the cutting edge of technology and methodologies has given me the ability to be agile around delivery, keeping me ahead of the competition.
What do you see as the next big game changer within the Digital Media and Technology industry?
Cloud, cloud and more cloud. Now the integration of business applications hosted out in the cloud is a huge area as it enables businesses to be more competitive. Also other areas are Big Data, real-time Analytics, Automation and IoT.
You call yourself a specialist. Why?
A specialist through experience, having worked across a number of different technical disciplines and servicing clients with wide-ranging technology environments.
What is your greatest achievement?
My family, having been married since 2009 and currently raising 2 children (my boys).
What is the best thing about your role?
My team and the opportunity set out in front of me.
When you were a child, what did you want to be?
Not sure, but I wanted to ensure I had enough money to provide my children with cool runners.
