The Role
Is to represent employees and customers with a disability and advocate for Accessibility across the Digital Asset team.
Essential Criteria
- Expert knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 guidelines and techniques
- Able to support accessible product development from design through development to quality testing
- Experience testing accessibility on multiple platforms (desktop, tablet, iOS, Android)
- Solid understanding of Web Accessibility Initiative – Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA) best practices and implementation in complex user interfaces
- Familiarity with assistive technologies for a variety of disabilities e.g screen readers
- In-depth knowledge of inclusive design practices, technical accessibility and digital accessibility best practices
- Experience in HTML, JavaScript and CSS development (front end knowledge)
- Able to identify inaccessible features of visual and interaction design
- Able to support accessible product development from design through development to quality testing
- Adobe Experience Manager
- Commercial exp. with AngularJS
- Experience with ReactJS
