Accounts Receivable (Part-time permanent)

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Accounts Receivable clerk to be part of a team of 3 within a global, e-commerce business based in their Sydney CBD offices.

The Role: 

You will be supporting the Client Services team in the invoicing, collection and processing of advertising revenue. Reporting into the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, you will help with the smooth running of the invoicing and billing process for clients, whilst also building strong customer relationships, developing innovative solutions to problems and generally supporting the greater Account Management function.

  • Will handle inbound phone and email inquiries related to the business clients' billing
  • Explaining invoices and payment terms
  • Attending to other account inquiries as required
  • Will make outbound calls in order to reconcile delinquent accounts
  • Contacting clients with overdue account balances to request payments
  • Negotiating payment arrangements
  • Will liaise with Account Management team on billing and invoicing issues
  • Sending invoice copies and account statements
  • Gathering information related to any billing disputes and resolving or escalating accordingly
  • Creating a positive customer experience by representing our brand with integrity
  • Uncover customers’ immediate needs through effective questioning techniques
You Will Have: 
  • Experience working within Accounts Receivable functions (1 year plus)
  • Exceptional communication and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience as working in a small capable team
  • Great problem solving skills, an analytical mindset and the ability to work collaboratively
  • System skills to intermediate level (preferably Salesforce but not essential)
This permanent part-time role is very flexible regarding the 20 hours per week needing to be worked for the right candidate. This can also suit someone wishing to go full time in the future should things go well.
