Application Support Manager - Innovative Supply Chain Tech Leader

My client, a leader in bringing supply chains up to date through a set of apps built using the latest in cloud, big data analytics and mobile technologies, is currently seeking an experienced Application Support candidate to join their expanding team in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Chief of Staff you will be responsible for the following:


Responsibilities
  • Main point of contact for all applications, systems and IT issues
  • Troubleshoot application and issues and see through to resolution
  • User acceptance testing of new products, and changes to the existing toolset prior to implementation
  • Implement and upgrade of software and ensure adequate performance and operation of the systems
  • Track daily production problems; ensure effective and timely resolution and communicate accordingly - carry out bug fixes and/or report bugs back to the development team
  • Work closely with developers, IT production staff etc. 

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline with 5 years relevant experience
  • Excellent experience of 1st and 2nd line support, solid SQL skills are a must and C# skills a bonus
  • Experience of dealing directly with clients is essential
  • Excellent application and system problem-solving skills; must be detail-oriented with solid communication skills
  • Fluent English with Mandarin/Cantonese advantageous
