My FinTech client, headquartered in Hong Kong with offices across Asia and Europe is a strategic partner to the banking industry, providing integrated loan management platforms to transform lending through automation, big data and next generation credit assessments solutions. They are expanding their headcount in Hong Kong, seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their Delivery team to be responsible for the following:

  • Client Services – Delivering solutions to meet and exceed client expectations 
  • Knowledge Transfer – Preparing end users for successful adoption of new technology
  • Efficiency – Constantly challenge current delivery processes and capabilities to identify and remove ‘waste’
  • Innovation – Utilising customer / market requirements as drivers to shape future system architecture and product offerings    
Other Responsibilities 
  • In order to support Solution Delivery enable change within the customer’s operational environment, you will apply your analytical, communication & leadership skills to facilitate end user adoption of new technology/operational processes
  • Collaborate internally/externally with functions across the organisation to understand customer requirements, competitor service offerings, and organisational objectives, in order to propose & deliver operational solutions     
  • Assist in facilitating workshops capturing customer business/operational issues and translating into requirements for developing technology
  • Capturing and analysing data to quantify business issues and build business cases Participating in project delivery scoping, estimation and the development of proposal documents
  • Assist in preparing documents i.e. operation guideline, process maps, training materials Assist co-ordinating end user UAT – documenting test cases & outcomes
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience working in a banking environment, technology provider or consultancy and be comfortable interacting confidently with operations staff
  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks required for solution delivery, and to implement change
  • Excellent communications (written & verbal) skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in approach to problem solving
  • Solid experience in the following methodologies – BPR, Six Sigma/Lean Sigma and Agile/Scrum project delivery methodology
  • Good knowledge of MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, MS Project and other industry standard PM collaboration tools. Working knowledge of .Net & SQL would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills fluent in English, other Asian language skills preferred
