Currently, they are on the lookout for 1 x Melbourne based BDM to join their current team.
In terms of the role, they are looking for an ambitious hunter who loves forging new relationships and doesn’t take things too seriously. As their first BDM you would help to grow and from there lead their Mid-Tier Sales team.
As BDM(s) you will ultimately be responsible for developing their Sydney, Melbourne, Australian and APAC market, but NOT without help! In addition to generating your own leads, you will be supported by their inbound and outbound business development reps, with warm leads that are generated from advertising efforts, trade shows, meet ups, word of mouth etc. You will also be supported by an excellent pre-sales teams who will handle all product demo's and an excellent customer success team too. You will be the person to drive the relationships and sales from start to finish before passing your new account wins over to their Customer Success team to nurture and grow.
In terms of your background they are looking for mid-market new business sales people with a SME and/ or Mid-market SaaS sales background. They are keen to talk to people with the experience to recognise buying signals and to convert prospects with a consultative approach. You will already be negotiating and closing deals which might have 3-12-month sales cycles.
