One of the most successful privately held global financial institutions is expanding it's Hong Kong operations. As part of the Engineering team you will use your knowledge and skills to integrate sophisticated coding techniques with innovative engineering ideas, design and optimize systems that can process massive amounts of data while ensuring high performance and stability. Reporting to the Head of Engineering you will also be responsible for the following: 

  • Work with traders and Quants, Systems Engineers, Network Architects, Technical Analysts and Software Developers to create industry-leading technical solutions/design and develop Options Trading software applications 
  • Work on high profile systems responsible for developing software for the firm's primary trading platform, used by traders across the firm
  • Develop components across the full stack using both C# and C++
  • Contribute to all phases of SDLC, from initial requirements, development, through to final testing and implementation
  • Commit to innovation and be able to execute on ideas quickly
  • Work across the entire technical stack with an eye for optimisation, scalability, stability while minimising risk
  • A master's degree or ideally PhD. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline
  • Min. 5 years of progressive experience developing large scale software applications in C# and C++ (C++ preferably on Windows platform)
  • A passion for new and creative solutions utilising different technologies, platforms and languages
  • Passionate about technology and exploring new technologies to find the optimal solution
  • Skilled in object oriented software design
