Digital Design Lead

The Design Lead will be responsible for the design of all regional offline and online properties. Working within the brand, the Design Lead creates appealing engaging designs to cover the depth and breadth of the client offering including - but not limited to - landing page designs, offline advertising, online banners, event promotion material, social media posts. This position works closely with each business in designated areas of Regional and Country marketing to ensure the message comes across in the most engaging way.

DESIGN
  • Designing online banners (flash/animated)
  • Designing web pages for the website according to the brand guidelines
  • Marketing landing pages
  • Design/HTML e-mailers
  • Event promotion material
WEBSITE CONTENT AND ADMIN
  • Maintain the regional websites using CMS
  • Updating content to keep image sizes low
  • Suggesting improvements 
ANALYTICS AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
  • Work collaboratively with the web team to track the performance of creative designs, CTR (click through rates), mobile optimised landing pages for better conversions and continuously develop visually appealing designs, graphics and layouts (e.g. landing page designs)
  • Research the latest design and UI trends to ensure that the client is working in the best way possible
  • Assist in AB tests to improve your work
SOCIAL MEDIA
  • Creation of design work for social media updates
COLLABORATION
  • Work with marketing, SEO teams and other key content roles in the business like the Content writer / specialist to develop new visual design concepts, graphics and engaging landing page designs that deliver increased engagement and better CTR’s
  • Work closely with SEO team for on-page optimization requirements
  • and implement the same on website
  • Contribute to and be an active member of the client community of best
  • practice for Content and Social
  • Build positive and effective relationships across all levels and functions of the organisation to deliver required results
  • Contribute to building a positive work environment within the team

Essential requirements (skills, knowledge experience &
qualification(s):
  • Educated to Graduation level or equivalent with some education in graphic or web design
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in design field
  • Demonstrable experience (minimum 2 years) in the web domain
  • Must have knowledge of using a CMS (Content Management System)
  • Experience on Photoshop or equivalent is a must with UI, Flash knowledge
  • Understanding of A/B testing of landing pages and banners
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics
  • Understanding of basic tracking technologies e.g. analytic pixels, cookies etc
  • Skilled and with strong knowledge of colour theory, typography, and layout design
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability & Willingness to learn
  • Able to read, analyse and interpret information effectively.
  • Basic IT Skills - MS office
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS
Desirable requirements: 
  • Experience in working in dynamic global environment
  • Experience in the education or travel industries
  • Great fluency in English is compulsory. Additional proficiency in any Southeast Asian country language is a plus
