My FinTech client, headquartered in Hong Kong with offices across Asia and Europe is a strategic partner to the banking industry, providing integrated loan management platforms to transform lending through automation, big data and next generation credit assessments solutions. They are expanding their headcount in Hong Kong, seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Delivery team to be responsible for the following: 
Key Areas of Focus
  • Client Services – Delivering solutions to meet and exceed client expectations 
  • Knowledge Transfer – Preparing end users for successful adoption of new technology
  • Efficiency – Constantly challenge current delivery processes and capabilities to identify and remove ‘waste’
  • Innovation – Utilising customer / market requirements as drivers to shape future system architecture and product offerings    
Further Responsibilities   
  • Lead solution delivery and enable change within the customer’s operational environment, applying project management tools and leveraging from previous implementation experience to facilitate end user adoption of new technologies and operational processes
  • Facilitate workshops capturing customer business / operational issues and translating into requirements for developing technology
  • Accountable for the scoping, planning, execution and monitoring of projects Preparing project progress status reports, highlighting key issues & risk mitigation
  • Co-ordinate and oversee end user UAT
  • Lead solution roll out support, capturing technology bugs and ensuring fixes 
  • 5 years of relevant mix of Project Management, Operational Change and Technology experience, preferably within a Financial Institution and/or Consultancy firm
  • Comfortable presenting to project sponsors / stakeholders and be able to influence outcomes / decisions
  • Ability to drive and implement change and to manage and motivate a project team to timely solution delivery
  • Excellent communications (written & verbal) skills
  • Solid experience in the following methodologies – BPR, Six Sigma / Lean Sigma & Agile / Scrum project delivery methodology
  • Good knowledge of MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Powerpoint, MS Project and other industry standard PM collaboration tools. Working knowledge of .Net & SQL would be advantageous
  • Fluent in English, other Asian language skills preferred
