About the Role

Positioned within the Credit Risk Data & Reporting team, the purpose of this role is to drive the development and delivery of Credit Risk Reporting and Data Governance activities. By leveraging your strong understanding of and skills with credit risk reporting, you will provide meaningful insights in relation to the Groups and divisional credit risk profile. In addition, you will actively contribute to the progression of our enterprise data & reporting strategies and you will be someone who can engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders across the business.





What you’ll be doing:
  • Production of high quality Credit Risk Reporting, ensuring the accuracy, completeness and consistency of reporting disclosures
  • Effective use and analysis of data to provide insights in relation to the Groups and divisional credit risk profile, with some understanding of data modelling skills
  • Undertake appropriate checking and ensure the maintenance, development and production of reports is of a high quality
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships with Credit Risk, other BI teams to deliver high quality business intelligence and manage expectations through effective and timely communication
  • Actively participate in and progress the maturity of Business Intelligence working with Enterprise data in regards to data collection, analysis, conformed requirements, visualization, all the while ensuring adoption of reporting governance processes, maintaining the credit risk reporting inventory and implementation of change management processes
  • Continually challenge the status quo, drive process efficiency and contribute to the delivery of the reporting strategic end state with Enterprise Data
  • Understand relationship data and use SQL to query data
  • Using your business acumen to put business context to the data
  

   
  
  
Skills & Experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications in business or related discipline
  • Orchestrator between Technology and Business
  • Sound understanding of data engineering to enable conformance of metrics, strong SQL, and experience with packages such as Tableau, SAS, Python & R suites, preferred
  • Proven ability to generate insights from data
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to enable you to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Knowledge concerning the financial services industry dynamics including regulatory environment
  • Stakeholder management skills and a customer service mindset
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong execution focus
