Senior Business Analyst

The successful candidate will have a strong functional and technical background and will ideally have some experience in credit risk management systems and functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate business workshops with a wide set of stakeholders, understanding key concerns for each stakeholder and addressing these through appropriate actions.
  • Perform impact analysis to identify potential process, organisation and system impacts in the end-to-end credit lifecycle.
  • Lead and mentor other business analysts to write detailed business requirements, while providing SME guidance and hands-on expertise where required.
  • Prioritise work packages, while working through multiple bespoke activities to adhere to strict prudential timelines.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to multiple technology squads to socialise and validate business requirements and assist in confirmation of epics and user stories.
  • Lead stakeholders in Working Group forums, guiding conversations and driving outcomes through discussions.
Key Requirements 
  • Ability to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders within the bank.
  • Experience with Credit Risk Management / regulatory functions within financial services environment.
  • Working knowledge of the front to back systems within the bank.
  • Experience working with regulators and understanding of the Large Exposure regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong requirements gathering and documentation / process mapping skills.
  • Excellent planning, co-ordination and facilitation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
