My client, a leading Global FinTech Product Provider, specialising in banking and
insurance technologies, is currently seeking an experienced Software Delivery Project Manager to join their expanding Hong Kong team. Working with a number of Tier 1 International Banks and Insurance clients and reporting to the APAC Senior Technology Management, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Sit in the Delivery Team and work collaboratively with Program Manager and Head of Delivery to develop, plan and execute programmes of work to agreed scope and timeline
  • Understand enterprise architecture and have enough financial services domain knowledge to be able to have solid client conversations
  • Lead dynamic and customer facing projects for large institutions - thus you will show  enthusiasm and flexibility in delivery
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis, and advise contingency plans
  • Manage relationship between client, vendors and internal teams
  • Assure effective communication between project teams, factory and client
  • Change control, customer/partner management
  • Occasionally participate in presales activity and point of reference for clients in Hong Kong


  • University degree in Computer Science, Finance or related fields with strong business domain (BA) or technical (architect or technical lead) skills/background
  • Minimum 6 years experience in Project Management preferably for J2EE component based solutions, ideally with a background in financial services industry or IT consultancies
  • Knowledge of Life and Health Insurance distribution processes is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Retail or Wealth Banking domain (products, processes, systems) especially the front office is an added bonus 
  • Proven track record on Digital projects delivery will be a plus
  • Good negotiating skills and ability to be assertive when dealing with all levels of internal/external hierarchy 
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communications skills
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken (knowledge of other local languages is a plus)
