My client, a Tier 1 Australian Investment Bank is currently seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join their Banking Technology team focusing on technical projects across various business lines. Working as part of a team on a new set of firm wide projects, you will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities 
 

• Work closely with key stakeholders to understand the project requirements and objectives and ensure that proposed projects are in line with the strategic portfolio objectives.
• Lead and manage project team towards timely and successful delivery of project requirements and objectives
• Plan and manage project scope, tasks, schedules and budget to deliver benefits on strategic initiatives
• Perform cost-benefit analysis and business impact analysis
• Track and manage resource allocation for projects
• Track and manage cost of projects against approved budgets
• Lead the preparation and delivery of required training and communications materials to impacted parties

Requirements 
 

• Solid years of experience as a Project Manager preferably in the banking and finance industry
• Well versed in project methodologies and skills: Prince2, PMP or CAPM certification, preferably
• Experience delivering project in an agile environment
• Excellent knowledge of CRM Systems, process analysis and workflows across multiple enterprise systems
• Very strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, e.g. business partners, project manager technical lead, developers and testing associates 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Technical background is an advantage

• 12 month contract with possibility of extension
• Daily rate of $850-1000 depending on experience
