My client is a leading specialist within the world of eFX trading, they have a major presence throughout Australia, APAC and Europe. Their front office trading team has some of the most experienced developers within FX Trading and Algorithmic development and becoming part of this team would be a major step forward for building your career technically and financially.
The role requires a highly accomplished Quality Assurance Engineer for guaranteeing the continued performance of my clients automated advanced custom trading applications for multiple FX trading strategies. Strong scripting experience with automated testing isa must. Please be aware that although this is a senior QA role you will still be hands on technical on a day to day basis
The QA needs to define scenarios which involve defining a sequence of events to be injected into the FX Platform and what events should be emitted for that scenario. That then needs to be scripted using Python or similar logic using the PySys framework
You will require
A technical degree in computing engineering or similar.
Expertise within Scripting language Python and or PERL and automated testing strategies. You will have worked on the development of platform component implementations and the production of technical design documentation
. 4 + years as a QA in financial markets with at least 6 to 12 months in a senior position
. Over 3 years proven commercial FIX experience Capital Markets Foundation and Apama Correlator /EPL is desired
. Strong FX, Equity Options /derivatives trading knowledge
. In depth knowledge low latency skills
. Excellent understanding of FIX Protocol
. Windows Server 2008, Visual Studio, Microsoft Office 2008
. Testing of C++, C# applications in a Windows environment
. Be able to work well in a team environment and take charge under pressure
Investment Banking or Trading House experience for this role is essential!!!!!
